Ghosts of GettysburgOnce littered with thousands of dead and dying, Gettysburg Pennsylvania might just be the most haunted place in America. From chilling forensic evidence to shocking photographs of full-body apparitions and encounters with dead soldiers, watch a team of ghost hunters investigate America’s most haunted battleground involving the ghosts of Gettysburg.

For more than one hundred years, the small town of Gettysburg has been overrun by accounts of paranormal activity. From the shouts and cries of injured soldiers to ghostly apparitions, almost everyone who’s visited Gettysburg has been affected by its other-worldly aura.

Many believe it’s still haunted by the violent bloodshed during three of the terrifying days in American history. The armies accidental meeting in the town in 1863 turned into a very bloody war that would change history forever.

When the cannon smoke disappeared, the Union soldiers came out the victors, but thousands of horses and men were either dead or in the process of dying. It was the bloodiest battle ever fought on American soil, with more US soldiers dying in three days than in the entire Viet Nam war.

Five months after the battle, Abraham Lincoln tried to restore peace. Now more than fourteen decades after the battle, the unsettled spirits of men who were never buried, but left to rot on the battlefield might still be residing there, being famously known as the “ghosts of Gettysburg”.
